Meals Program - The BLC serves up 40,000 warm and nutritious meals a year to people living with HIV/AIDS. We serve lunch four days a week and dinner three days a week. Volunteers are at the heart of the meals program, helping Volunteers help set-up our dining room, prepare & serve food, and clean up, washing dishes, pots, pans, sweeping and mopping floors. Special Events
Volunteers assist with a variety of tasks at fundraising events. Volunteers may also help in member event preparation and implementation.

Other Opportunities
The BLC would also love to hear about your special talent and how you might assist the center. Do you have a skill you think would benefit our members or staff? We’d love to hear from you!
Groups & Organizations: We are happy to work with small groups (approximately 5 volunteers) but don’t always have the opportunity to accommodate larger groups. However, there are other ways your group could help the BLC:
Organize a drive for items the BLC members are in ongoing need of: Personal Care Items, Art Supplies etc. See Our Wish List (link)

Or your group could hold a fundraiser to help the center financially and spread the word about the BLC’s mission and work.
